About
Mary-Lou is a keen photographer with a passion for capturing the essence of a scene. She has always had an interest in the look of her environment, as well as the people and animals within it.
Mary-Lou’s interest in photography in a major way was piqued in 2000. She shares the images she captured overseas, seeking to find the best way to portray people’s lives, nature and the way life itself exists.
Special mention is that Mary-Lou’s photograph “Snow Monkeys” was featured in the “2010 National Geographic Photography Contest Galleries | Nature Gallery—Week 8”. Since then she has become a regular at campdrafts and other ‘rural pursuits’ in South Burnett, Queensland, Australia.
